TAS Update: Long-term SIM cards and plans now available at The Arrival Store

We’re very excited to announce that, for those wanting to bring their own phone to Korea, we can now offer a long-term SIM card and plan – waiting for you when you arrive.

ArrivalStore_LogoColorFINALBringing your own phone to Korea, and getting a SIM card to work with it, is now easier than ever. Whereas before you were stuck using prepaid, temporary SIM cards until you got your ARC (usually a 3-6 week wait), you can now order a long-term SIM card from TAS and have it waiting for you when you arrive.

There’s no wait period and no ID requirement; you don’t have to fill out forms to activate it, either, it just works. You can be on a plan from day 1, without the frustration of dealing with the language barrier in your first week.

Compatibility:

Your phone needs to be an unlocked, Korea-compatible smart phone. Check out this guide we wrote to find out whether your phone is compatible.

Speak to your network provider to make sure your phone is unlocked but, in general, Verizon and Sprint phones are not locked, whereas AT&T, T-Mobile, and most other providers’ phones are (this will vary by country).
